Build evidence, relationships and momentum before increasing fixed investment.
Prepared by Business & Consulting Services AS · Reviewed 8 September 2026
The first 100 days should reduce uncertainty and create qualified opportunities—not imitate the structure of an established business.
Days 1–20: Establish the hypothesis
- Confirm objectives, investment limits and success criteria
- Define target industries, accounts and customer problems
- Map known competitors, alternatives and procurement routes
- Identify regulatory and registration questions requiring specialist advice
Days 21–45: Test the market
- Conduct structured customer and partner conversations
- Test the value proposition and evidence requirements
- Assess pricing expectations and commercial barriers
- Qualify potential representatives, distributors and industrial partners
Days 46–70: Select and position
- Choose the initial entry and representation model
- Prioritise target accounts and stakeholder relationships
- Adapt propositions, material and engagement messages
- Create opportunity governance, reporting and decision cadence
Days 71–100: Execute
- Advance qualified meetings and opportunities
- Formalise selected partner relationships where justified
- Resolve practical establishment requirements
- Present an evidence-based continuation, pivot or stop decision
Outputs at day 100
Leadership should have a validated opportunity view, named pipeline, partner assessment, recommended entry model, local execution plan and transparent rationale for the next investment decision.
